Jenna de Beer
Owner and Principal Teacher

Jenna trained in KZN under Gaynor Harris from  3 years old and then went on to train with Bev & Kerry Hall and Kim and Bonnie Hayman. She competed from an early age and enjoyed much success in her competitive career across many competitions whilst also completing her dance training.

Showing performance promise from a young age she represented KZN in the Youth Dance Company where she was chosen to be a soloist during her final years in the company. She was selected to dance with Durban’s resident companies, NAPAC AND FFFDC, on multiple occasions. Jenna was the first pupil at St. Mary’s D.S.G in Kloof to be awarded Honours Cum Laude for her achievements as a training dancer having achieved outstanding results in Cecchetti Ballet, I.S.T.D Modern and Ballet, and A.I.D.T Modern.

Jenna then went on to study Dance, Psychology, Media & Relations and English Language and Literature at The University of Cape Town. During this time she enjoyed wonderful professional performing opportunities in both the artistic and commercial space including working with Lindy Raizenberg, Kirvan Fortuin, Corinne de Beer and Jay Pather.

Having completed her Cecchetti Associate, under Miss Jennifer Louw, and Bachelor of Social Science (UCT) she left South Africa in 2014 to travel and teach dance and English in South Korea, Hong Kong and China where she gained international teaching experience. After traveling for a year in South America in 2018, Jenna returned to South Africa where the school began, organically, in Sea Point, Cape Town. Nothing brings Jenna more joy than imparting her knowledge of dance and all the lessons it brings with it to her students.
